Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you my entryway update! I was getting so tired of seeing shoes under the bench… No matter how neat I tried to place them it always gave off a cluttered feeling. Everything is super functional and I love the finished look! As usual I’m putting links for you to shop everything down below 💖

Without further ado, let’s jump into it!

The first thing I wanted to change was the overall vibe of the entryway. The previous items were more traditional themed. This is in part due to us reusing items from our previous home. When we moved I changed our design style to industrial which means more metals, more mixed colors (darker), and more clean cut.

So… here’s the before…

And here’s the after!

The first thing you’ll notice is SHOES BE GONE! I hid away all shoes in these 2 brown wicker baskets that I love. They each come with 2 handles but due to the size and how far it originally stuck out from the wall we decided to remove the handle that’s closest to the wall. Doing so allows the wicker baskets to peek out from under the bench just the right amount.

I then decided to remove the wicker basket with fluffy blankets. With me having wicker under the bench I didn’t need another on the side. Instead I opted for these tall black floor lanterns. They hold the floor space without making the entryway feel cluttered and overwhelming.

To finish off the look I changed out the pillows to covers that include the silver, gold, and brass color similar to my dining room wall art, and added a new metal wreath.

But that’s about it! I’m really loving how neat and tidy it is, and how now the industrial entry flows well with the rest of the house! I’ve linked all the material 😘
