Hi peeps! Long time no talk… How are you??

I’m doing alright. Just trying not to worry in the midst of this corona virus pandemic. Trying to stay safe and keep my family safe and I pray you all are doing the same.

I wanted to hop on here really quick and share with you one of the projects I’ve completed while being quarantined. Using only target drive up and items around the house (Oh! And a few things from staples and amazon) I completed this hallway office area for under $600!!

It’s so functional, and so amazing and so perfect for out lifestyle right now! I literally can not wait to share!

Per usual, I will link the items I can find for you guys 💖 So without further do, lets jump into it!

This is the before. Just a simple hallway. I created this crossword puzzle from wood pieces and metal letters and added a few mixtiles to the wall.

And this is the after!

Quite the transformation right!?

For this office space I started with the desk from the 1 and only target. I then added a riser stand so that I could put my monitor on top and laptop on bottom, both connected to one another by a HDMI cord. Next, I needed a design element so I grabbed this vase from downstairs that I purchased from Home Goods 2 years ago, gathered some pink peonies from my dining room table centerpiece and Ta-DA!

It still felt like something was missing, so I went BACK to Target and purchased this beautiful banana tree in a grey ceramic pot. I finished the look with my grey and tan zebra print chair.

Here, I really wanted to focus on simplicity and keep the color scheme as neutral as possible. I love how easy it was to put all this together and how functional the space is now. I’m able to write blogs in style while giving my lap and master bed a break 🤣.

I should note that the $600 for his office space isn’t including the wall outlet that we had to have installed. This hallways didn’t have one before which I found very weird.

It’s been really nice for both my husband and I during this work-from-home time. Oh and in case you were wondering, to the right is my portable scanner that I usually kept in my nightstand but now have a legit place for.

But anyway friends, look forward to some fun and interesting upcoming content. I plan to use this quarantine to really write and share some unique and fun design hacks!

Until next time,
