Hi guys! It’s Ravin. I’m trying to get better at being more productive during the week and actually stick to a constant blogging schedule. Getting on to the subject, I FINALLY ORGANIZED MY PANTRY AND I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE SOME ORGANIZATION HACKS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LOT EASIER! (Sorry for yelling …. I was just really excited right then -_-) If you’re interested in before and after pictures as well as a method to the madness, then keep on reading!

I wish I’d taken a picture of what my pantry looked like in my previous house. But I didn’t, so you’ll just have to trust me when I say it looked more like a linen closet then a pantry. There was like 4 really large deep shelves and……… that’s it. It made organizing anything a huge impossible irrational task.

When moving to this house, I knew for sure with my big girl pantry I would want big girl organization. I started but then ran out of bins and never went back to it because …. I mean, you know how life is. So…. here’s what I ended up with.

It wasn’t nearly as bad as my previous one but it still just wasn’t tickling my organization fancy. I ran out of bins and started just placing random items on the shelves to make up for the space I was missing. But, it really just made everything seem….cluttered.

Organization Hacks

Now getting into the details. The key to pantry organization is bins in my opinion. You can be strategic with pre-measuring or do what I did and just buy all the containers in store. My bigger wicker baskets with liners on the bottom came from target, the smaller wicker baskets are from At Home, and the wider baskets on the last shelf also came from At Home.

A nice but completely unnecessary touch are the decorative plants from Amazon. And a nice and completely necessary touch are the cereal containers (especially if your family eats a lot of cereal like mine) that came from Amazon.

Lastly, the lazy susans that are off towards the end of every shelf is good for added organization. I for one hate reaching over one thing to get to another because then the one thing you reached over is more likely to fall and knock over everything in it’s way like a strike you didn’t want to happen 🙄. Mrs. Susan helps to avoid such mishaps.

She is also great for cabinet organization!

As you see here, I’ve used multiple lazy susans along with clear risers from The Container Store that make cooking so much more fun and relaxing.

I’ve made it my mission to organize every space seen and unseen in my home.
